KENNY NEAL

BLUES AIN´T NOTHING BUT A GOOD MAN FEELING BAD

Kenny Neal takes us to Baton Rouge with What You Got, an album released in 2000 by Telarc Blues and deeply rooted in Louisiana swamp blues. The son of harmonica player Raful Neal and a musician seasoned from an early age alongside figures such as Buddy Guy, Neal naturally blends blues, R&B and soul here.

Our Track of the Day is “Blues Ain’t Nothing But A Good Man Feeling Bad,” a relaxed-groove number in which guitar, piano and saxophone build a direct, unadorned blues sound.
