Hay músicos que escriben canciones que terminan haciendo historia y otros que, además, tienen que luchar para que se reconozca su propio nombre. Larry Davis pertenece a esta segunda categoría.

En FLASH BLUES 82 nos adentramos en I Ain't Beggin' Nobody, un álbum grabado en 1985 y publicado originalmente en 1987, donde Davis combina su guitarra y su voz con el talento de Oliver Sain y una banda de auténtico lujo.

Coautor de «Texas Flood», Davis tuvo que superar años de dificultades y un grave accidente de moto que le apartó de los escenarios. Pero regresó, y lo hizo con el blues todavía corriendo por sus venas.

There are musicians who write songs that end up making history, and others who, in addition, have to fight to have their own name recognized. Larry Davis belongs to this second category.

In FLASH BLUES 82, we delve into I Ain't Beggin' Nobody, an album recorded in 1985 and originally released in 1987, where Davis combines his guitar and voice with the talent of Oliver Sain and a truly top-notch band. Co-writer of "Texas Flood," Davis had to overcome years of hardship and a serious motorcycle accident that sidelined him from performing. But he returned, and he did so with the blues still running through his veins.

Our Track of the Day is "Giving Up On Love," an original composition in which Larry Davis showcases the full expressive power of his soulful voice and a deeply felt performance.

Larry Davis didn't need to beg anyone for anything. He just needed us to listen to his music.
